Here is a nice little article about the ever growing rate of debt that we Americans put ourselves in.  Its hard to imagine the average household is $7,200.00 in revolving debt!  Just goes to show you we live in a world of visa and mastercard for sure.

August MyActualGrowth Networth update September 3, 2006

Alright well this month like a posted earlier I bought some things I needed on a credit card that has no interest for 6 months. I bought a new laptop which I needed and an Xbox 360. The laptop was 1549 and the 360+games and controllers etc was about 650. Now that’s over $2200 and my balance is now down to $1,325.27. So that tells you just how much I have payed on that bad boy. I plan to have it payed off in October, I could pay it off right away but again there is no interest until December so I am putting money in my Savings account that earns interest and still funding my Sharebuilder brokerage. So obviously this month I was looking at my net worth decreasing but it only decrease by $14.19 or dropped down by .63%. That’s not bad considering I accumulated an extra $2,200 in credit card debt.

Now I still increased my Networth in key categories such as my checking, savings, 401k, and my Sharebuilder Brokerage.

My brother on front page of Myspace.com August 25, 2006

Ok I know this isn’t really related to this site at all but hell I thought it was pretty cool.  My brother just put a profile on Myspace a few days ago and we couldn’t understand why he was getting soooo many profile views and friend requests.  Well it turns out that he is on the front page of Myspace.com list under the “New cool people” part of the page.  I guess thats about as famous as he will get but none the less pretty damn cool eh?  Click on the picture below to get a close up.  I took a print screen shot from my laptop to get this image.

Finally I gave my site a little refresher and updated the look a little bit.  I think its less cluttery now and all of the content is put together in one spot.  Hopefully I accomplished that and I don’t plan on changing the look of this blog for a while.  I think one thing I might add though is like a quick “list of links” like an intro for this blog to let everyone know what its about.  I will have to think of some ideas for that.  Well I hope that everyone likes the look, I think I like it a hell of a lot better now than before and tommorow I will post about something related to personal finance instead of website technical makeover “blah blah”.
