About Me:

A little bit about me and my personal finance:
First off I am no financial expert by any means.  I am just going through the motion of controlling my personal finances and saving my money.  I will talk honestly about my financial life and the journey from starting with $0.00 to whatever I may presently be at.  Money is usually a private topic that most are curious about but is something we rarely talk about with others.  I think by sharing ideas of how we protect our income we can all benefit from each others experiences.

Why start a site about your personal finances?
Well the main reason was to hold me accountable and improve my self-discipline managing my personal finances. Also I want to hear feedback from others about things I might be doing right, and things that I could improve upon. Also I just thought it would be a cool idea for people to see an average person go from $0.00 in savings and watch it grow and hopefully people can learn from my experiences

Hobbies

  • Currently my hobbies are saving and investing but of course I have more hobbies than that. I am a sports nut so don’t be surprised if you see some posts related to sports on here, especially Duke Basketball. I am young still so I enjoy going to different bars and restaurants. I am also really starting to get into fitness. About the same time I started this whole savings thing I started to eat right and exercise… maybe I will blog about my plan for that as well.
